Twitter

Do you Tweet for your business? How effective do you find it? There has been some back and forth pros and cons for Twitter. With as many tweets that come through within 30 seconds, how do you make a Tweet stand out? Do your tweets automatically link up to your facebook page?

I tweet almost every day! Whether for my blog, an event or just some random spouting that comes out, lol.

I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Why a blog?

So, you may ask yourself, why do I need a blog for my company? The answer to that is easy! This allows your consumers to read not only the known information about your company, but also what happens behind the scenes! This gives consumers a more intimate knowledge of what you are about. People want to deal with companies they know and trust.

Networking Tip

Whenever you are talking with someone new, always mention what you do! Don't be afraid to put yourself out there. You can do it casually and if something remotely close to what you do comes up in conversation, jump on it.

Today for example. I mentioned to 2 people that I am a blogger and what I blog about. They were really surprised that blogging reviews and giveaways was legitimate. I started laughing and was like, yep! I review product for companies and some sponsor giveaways. I also told them about my new blog in which I want to help businesses get their products and services noticed and to make them more than the typical mortar business.

How do you tell people what you do? How do you Network your business?

Why am I here?

Well, I am interested in helping companies get their product and services out in the public eye. Social Media and Public Relations go hand in hand anymore as more and more people are doing their research online. We can't get away from it! The internet is here to stay, regardless of what Prince has to say :). More people shop online than they do by physically going into the store. However, if your store is in California, and you want people in Georgia to know about you, you need to have a web presence.

I have been blogging for several years. I first started out writing about being a single mother, a student and a worker. After I graduated college in May of 2009 with my Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management, I decided to start doing more. I then started my blog Single Parent Challenges. Then in September, with the help of another blogger, I broke into doing reviews and giveaways for companies with my blog Single Parent Retreat. With this blog, I am also doing freelance writing for companies as well as interesting, well, what I consider interesting at least!, posts on single parenting, parenting, saving money, etc in this crazy world.

I would love to help your business take that step into the world wide web. Some of the things I would blog about for you as an example is, about you. How did your company come to be? What you do. Picture uploads would be done as well. I would maintain this for you so you can spend your time doing other things and knowing that your company is becoming a force that will be noticed.

I will also be available for resume services. If you need assistance writing a resume, I would be there to tackle that for you as well. You provide me the information needed and I will put together a professional resume for you.
